Hobart AFL Radio Competition

Hey guys, not sure if this is allowed, please delete if not

I'm the host of a radio show here in Hobart on Edge Radio and we're about to commence a quiz off in search of which AFL team has the smartest supporters. While we have found supporters from most clubs, we are in need of Hobart based supporters of the following clubs:

- Adelaide
- Brisbane
- Fremantle
- Gold Coast
- Melbourne
- St.Kilda
- Sydney

If you are based in Hobart and support any of these clubs, or know of anybody in Hobart who supports those clubs, please let us know so you can get involved! There will be prizes up for grabs shall you make the final!

I'll be X-Posting in the teams Forum sections, please delete them if that is not allowed

Michael Barlow Injury Updates

Fremantle star Michael Barlow is still an indefinite prospect in his return from a broken leg, with the club yet to decide when he'll play again.

Barlow suffered the horrific injury midway thorough last season after a stunning debut year.

He hasn't rejoined full training and was still walking and jogging laps when the team resumed from their Christmas break today.

Fremantle sports science manager Jason Webber said the club would not rush him back becasue they were concerned about breaking him down.

Webber said the bone had healed strongly and his running ability remained strong but there was a risk of soft tissue injuries.

"Mick's on track with his recovery from the fracture. He's on target to get back next season in a good manner," he said.
"At this stage we're not putting a specific time frame on it... we're looking at managing how his leg progresses."

Barmy Army Your Views

As a lover of Australian cricket this year has been very disappointing.

However, the highlight for me has been the "Barmy Army" ... the are brilliant, awesome and clearly love the game & their country.

Sensational work guys. 10/10 for your contribution to this Ashes series.

Thank-you & hopefully we will see you again in Australia.
